A journey through life's time.

As Time Goes By
Jim Graham June 19, 2016

As youth we remember, the clock clicks so slowly.
Our youth hears the clock ticks, there muffled in triumph.
We wish for tomorrow, the clock keeps on ticking.
But we don't see the future, our time is so precious.

We move oh so fast, the clock never to stops
We wonder how could we, be years, Oh so old.
We never surmised, when we began to notice.
The clock moves faster, night comes so soon

We think of our youth, we wonder why.
We gradually accept the changes we feel.
We question these changes, we feel so confused.
We wish for our youth, so fun and carefree.

We look for the answers, confused and searching.
We look to our parents, for guidance and love.
We look for anyone, for answers of knowledge.
We look to the Lord, for reassurance

Oh guardians of mercy, give me the knowledge,
To understand, how precious life is.
God is my refuge, he is my friend indeed!
I will not be shaken, all of my days of life.
