P rocrastination can sometimes be its own reward

A s we wander down the path of life seeking and grabbing

T hat which would seem to be the obvious choices for happiness

R ealizing quickly of course after taking the first left fork in the road

I nstead of taking the right one that there are going to be some

C onsequences but since the left fork also has its own set of unique opportunities that

K eep us focused on the quest for that elusive grail the importance of the right fork fades

A way except in those sad circumstances where taking the left fork was a bad choice and

G oing back is not an option because this path is a one way street that on occasion by making enough

R ight hand or left hand turns consecutively will allow one to double back to the previous fork but

A s we all know time moves on regardless of one’s first choice so that the right fork if now chosen

N o longer appears to have the same choices that were so appealing before so maybe choosing the left

F ork was the correct choice all along because going back to something that cannot be changed serves

O nly to burn the proverbial candle at both ends and consumes any pleasure of the moment so instead of

R acing down the path and missing the scenery that can exist for us all when you get to a fork

S low down because procrastination can sometimes be its own reward
