Revisiting Georg's Words

Georg may be on to something

When sadness prevails and you choose not to cry

The teardrops inside will soon multiply

A tear shed tomorrow might be shed for today

But teardrops should never be shed with delay

Tears shed for joy have a scent all their own

An emotional cleansing, a spiritual cologne

Accept heaven’s scolding you received by the sea

And know that tears shed are shed not just for thee

Patrick, yes tears are a way of cleansing the soul. I prefer tears of joy but sometimes those tears of pain have a way of restoring balance to one's life. Nicely stated.
