Relaxation is the primary goal when we come to Missouri. Eileen bought me a watercolor paint kit to play with. I haven’t played with watercolors since kindergarten. It is fun being a kid again. This is my second effort done just this morning to capture our deck view scanned and resized for email. Richard King (bless his heart) requested so don’t blame me. Painting:By Patrick Granfors

Not exactly photographic Hardly well composed My novice level effort Is certainly exposed It really doesn’t matter I do it for the fun Relaxing breeze comes off the lake To temper rays of sun I get to choose the colors No one will ever know My green is dark and blue is light Brown is more like yellow Release the inner child You’ll be surprised at what you find That a simple little painting Childhood memories can remind No fear Copyright 2012 Patrick A Granfors
