Luck of the Irish

Caught this shot of the moon setting over the lake at sunrise. Not celestially uncommon but a nice way to start my birthday which was Saint Patrick’s Day.

T’is certainly the luck of the Irish

To wake up on the right side of the ground

On Saint Patty’s morning at moon set

When Green beer will soon be in abound

Oh glorious sunrise protect me

No rainbow is here to be found

For today’s pot of gold I’ll look elsewhere

To the west in the sky - the Orb round

Such a fine pairing may be conjured

Just once a year if you please

The decadent twins of the ages

A feast of green beer and green cheese
