With the price of oil, war of the spoils
Here’s your bucket for the big bailout
Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan
We gotta, a lot to drink about

Jimmy Buffett

 I’m the sheep in wolf’s clothing

Got you by the balls

You watch me on TV each night

Another city falls

 

Social engineering

Revenge at rifle’s point

Pick Chicago or choose Baghdad

New leaders to anoint

 

I’m the sheep in wolf’s clothing

Proclaiming red alert

A dozen global conflicts

With war again we flirt

 

Ignition switches failing

Cars driving off a cliff

Potential compensation

It isn’t when, but if

 

I’m the sheep in wolf’s clothing

I watch your every move

As long as people vote for me

I’ll stay right in my groove

 

Another week in high school

The madness just begun

I really like my video games

They teach me to have fun

 

I’m the sheep in wolf’s clothing

Entitlements going broke

We’re going to have to import

A bunch of foreign folk

 

Because otherwise I’ll tax the rich

Which never bodes very well

I need their campaign funding

So my election coffers swell

 

Of course anything left over

An offer I can’t refuse

I’ll still proclaim pure poverty

You can watch me on the news

 

I’m the sheep in wolf’s clothing

Of my courage I will tell

On the outside I’m ferocious

Inside an empty shell

Sound to me like you've got politicians summed up pretty well,
I wonder if there's some global mold for politicians, ans every country gets and even share?, after all they do all seem exactly the same where-ever you go.
Well just a thought.

Where to begin, I don't understand why it's so hard to pull the costume off and have them running off with their tail between their legs. Nothing is perfect but, really? Thanks for the write up.

I sense you are actually writing about someone. Someone whose shoes no one would really want if they knew what it was like to fill them.

Better to be a sheep until you have to strike like an eagle, and then, only when you have no other choice.
