How many times do you feel, no, dont like that, you discard a piece of writing.
*If I wish I* *had held on to you* *I know I* *would have used you.* *Did not know it then* *so you went in the bin,* *gotta hold on* *to the pieces. Lifes a jigsaw* so is my brain, so it throws out my thoughts in bits and pieces. I need to stop throwing them away Hold on to jigsaw before its all gone, it all makes sense when the pieces fit. I gotta hold on to the pieces.

I like how you did this using the puzzle and the confusion and thought needed for one, as relationships are the same, great viewpoint.
