Second Durball the Duck poem

Being a nice

helpful sort of a guy

does not help a Duck

tell you why,

you see Durball the Duck

he fits all the slots

always ready

to help you out.

However not all things

are as they seem

being helpful

is not all it seem's.

Durball one day

was flying past

a golf course

with small flags

stuck top masts,

he flew low to look

an what dd he see

two white eggs

he thought had fallen from a tree.

Oh our dear Durball

how brave he was

despite all he people

he kept the eggs warm.

Men started walking all about

in quite a state

as they looked all around

yet Durball sat it out

never flinched from

his post

keeping those eggs

warm as toast.

The men looked anxious

then came his way

as one called out

'Whats that Duck sitting on?'

and they looked to see,

Durball shouted at them

as they moved him aside

'He's sitting on our balls!'

they cried.

Poor Durball the Duck

been sitting there for hours

thought they were eggs

he was keeping warm

never knew they were golf balls

now as he flies away

he feels such a fool.
