A driver was heading south

got lost and could not

sort it out,

so he pulled over in a town

asked a guy the way

but the guy said and frowned.

Where do you come from?

what is your name?

You are a stranger in this place

I advise you not to stay.

No one leaves

so go before they see

once your here

they own you

and your life you will fear.

Ask no questions

leave while you can

you have entered Nowhere

you made a mistake

now go turn around.

So the guy turned around

took the mans advice

as he  left he saw a sign

'This is Nowhere. pop. dead.'

Ten miles heading away

he stopped to check his map

curious about the place

he found nothing

not even the track,

it just did not exist

not even the road he took

later that day

he took another look.

Research showed him

there was a place

in 1853

a mining town called Nowhere

that simply died away.
