Poem Artwork

~on days like these~

i clamor, like a babe
set against the dark mists
that rise

those recesses - where
i didn't play with the team
kicked sand

remembering them
remembering you

you rise like sunshine
taking my eyelids towards
heavens

those occupations - where
i spin irreverence and mockeries
missing you

remembering mentis
remembering petrov

i exist. like you exist.
set against the shadowlands
that are rising.

talk about your helens and your trojans; such imagery...and love the littel vignettes of dripped dropped metaphors/similes...presing minds to souls....little stop.still images of. .. .

I enjoyed the straightforward simplicity of this ditty; a delightful read, Donna!

The unnique Artwork...could it be...a modern-day interpretation of the "Trojan Horse"? My thought :o)

This write or ditty as you name it following such a bold graphic really packed a wallop. It brought me to mind (as a male) how love and genders can use such trickery to first get inside someones heart and then destroy it. Definately not just a light ditty.
