Depression is different for each sufferer; mine is episodic, but always reminds me of where my knowledge will go upon death. I think it's just gone.
Departure
A deepened sense of identity
is found without a light

Anxiety goes with depression, it isn't very much fun for people to experience this either. There's always hope they can find themselves sooner than later though.
