So tenderly an angel was created and

with infinite wisdom & care...placed

...there was a purpose

Think not that it was a surprise

to 'Him' who is timeless and always sees

...beneath the surface

 This cherub was given all power...except

the mastery of life & death - he was a beauty

...the fairest of them all

My, how he flew with regal authority

oh, how he fluttered flawlessly

...along the gold and jeweled walls

But then...ever so slowly

the roots of perdition took hold

...so steadily it began to grow

lucifer, as he was called, was changing

fostering rebellion and discord

...as he soared to and fro

Sly looks of resentment were cast

at his Maker and a well of wroth

...did this created one carry within

Knowingly, The King gathered His legions

 minus a third and said, prepare...

we will soon evict sin!

Then came the day that 'darkness'

called his followers and rose up

...declaring himself greater than God!

War was in heaven, tho' not for long...

lucifer became satan...as he and his imps

were hurled down thru space & hit the sod

~~ 

Make no mistake - it was pride

that destroyed this angelic figure

pride...brought him down 

For he had the gaull to think

that he...not God

should wear the royal crown!

~~ 

Thousands of years later

He tried again...Judas was then his name

...can you not see the correlation?

Do you not yet hear

and understand the message

that continuously 'warns' all nations?

~~ 

Whatever your degrees or your distinction

however you are blessed and

...whatever gifts upon you God will endow

We are but dust...we must bow before 'Him'

for we are not the glory or the power...it is GOD!

HE...AND...HE ALONE IS... THE CAT'S MEOW!
