There was this window in my room at the homeless shelter where I once resided...a beautiful reminder of God's Faithful Love! Thus, I know...in what seems to be the very darkest hour of our lives Our Heavenly Father will always...miraculously...reach out for us, someway...somehow...with a tangible sign of His Presence. Pressing on, amen
God shows us many signs that HE is with us if we just take the time to observe his presence. HE said He will not leave us nor forsake us and this I truly know! I'm always changing handbags and for some reason I didn't take out my wallet from the other bag recently and I work out of town, on my arrival to work is when I realized I forgot my wallet. Therefore I had no drivers license, no checkbook, no credit or debit cards & no money. It was all left behind and it was too far to turn back. I had a full tank but I wasn't about to waste more gas. Then suddenly I thought, what will I do for lunch I had no money. I was quite frustrated at my actions and said, Well Lord, I'll leave it up to you." As I was walking towards the building to go in, there it was just waiting on me, a $10 dollar bill laying on the ground. There were people coming and going in that parking lot and no one saw it but me. It was as if God said, "Here it is!" Immediately I looked up and thanked Him for his blessing. I just wanted to share that with you, God shows us many signs even in our subconcious he's always there. I really loved your poem Joyce! Hi Joyce, every prayer touches the soul and I can feel yours are deep and earnest. When I was a young child, my dearest Mother taught me to pray each night before I sleep and again in the morning before I rise. No matter how short or long your prayers maybe, as long as they come from your heart, He hears them. Beautiful picture too. Thank you for sharing.
