HIS WIND BLOWS

Somehow, through it all...day after day...we are still standing. How...?

Poem Artwork

When all our resilience seems

to have fled to some distant land

yet, we are kept adrift, continuing

to hold to His strong hand

and, inexplicably, we still stand

...How?

His Wind Blows...

cool and restoring

from the four corners of celestial city

...it flows

and we are transfixed...for

from His hands...the gift of a new day

we behold

Our mere existence is miraculous

we are a wonder to many...

our souls wallow daily in spiritual baths

of good and plenty

...How?

His Winds Blows...

lifting us out of defeat

ushering us along on billowy sheets...

we are kissed  with Heaven's dew

and more astounded...than those that view

Despite the heaviness

of the enemy's probe...

despite the constant attack

 of forces...that corrode...

despite all the opposition this cruel world unloads...

we are blessed...irregardless of the stress

...How?

His Wind Blows...

carrying Mercy and Grace

to its fullest extent...

and we are humbled by the magnitude

of His loving intent

We are none sinless

but we're each...His child

and it's His will that we tarry here

...for this little while

There is a reason...a purpose

for this 'tour'

thus...until He calls...we will endure

...How?

His Wind Blows...

in a thought...a word...or a song

reminding us of Whom we belong...

a refreshing...so needed...so right

...bringing comfort and light

Ah, yes...we're pressing on in this battle

whether we're high or whether we're low

confident...that wherever we may go

His peace...will find us...for

His Wind...Blows
