From whence cometh Kindness? God. God’s Kindness is His Love for us. How do we give His Love…His Kindness to others when (if the truth be told) there are those with whom we share mutual feelings of dislike? Indeed, I’m talking about ‘real’ Kindness here. It’s easy to be Kind to those we care for, but how do we extend Kindness to those we don’t personally care for? In other words, how do we Love…Be Kind…to strangers or, even our enemies? We learn to put on the difficult robe of humility, turning to Jesus and, as a child is taught, He will teach us how to ‘Be Kind’ for His Love’s sake. But, you say, they do not ‘deserve’ it. They may not, however, consider; we did not beg Jesus to go to Calvary for us, He overlooked all of our wrongs, and died willingly because of His Kindness…His Love for us yet, not one of us…DESERVED it. Remember His Word says, ‘Let this Mind…this Kindness…be in you that is also in Christ Jesus.’ So, let’s become children again and go back to 'His School'…yes?
