The lights go dim

The party about to begin

As they call my name

My personality must change

No longer a person

Just an image

Just until the night is finished

You won’t know who I really am

When the lights are dim

I am there for your enjoyment

While I am just being that person for employment

You can not see what I am

While these lights are dim

When the lights are turned on

 I no longer move to the song

The constant melody that moved my feet

Can no longer haunt me while I sleep

Not even the next day

Will keep those animals at bay

I am nothing more then a mere image

With the lights dimmed and my personalities locked in a scrimmage
