 Inside of You

The ballet, the theater

Your story, its passion,

The dance - is what matters.

Whether you’re twirling,

Leaping, bending, gliding

Flying through the air.

Accomplished you’ve owned

A feat looking effortless

You’re home.

Caught up in the magic

You cry out your joy

Dancing, twirling, leaping...

Is your Theater

A life of rainbows

Dancing inside of you...

It sure is. Though my legs no longer carry me, I still dance in my mind.

I am in awe of your capacity for succinct showmanship... this one cavorts with the reader like a camera cavorts with an actor, subtle, expressive, sincere in its candor, sure of its focus, fill its lens with only what matters and teasing the immaterial significance into something metaphysically physical... explosive in its serenity, on a scale of the panorama, but yielded tightly like a close-up to melt confusion in a pool of placid, highly delineated implosions that leave the reader wanting, no needing to embrace the dance of life with every fiber of her being until his her is able somehow to dance again... (and this was on the first read...)... send us more... send in the clowns... send us up... higher and higher! Wonderful, Deborah.
