The mind is a terrible thing to waste.

Never mind that you were not a favorite child,
maybe not even wanted by your own parents,
who never had the courage to tell you that
your birth was an accident, mistake, or a
curse, especially, for them.

Never mind that life isn't fair and that you
often encounter people who are the
"dog-eat-dog" type, takers, not givers,
obsessed with the "more and bigger" complex,
ego-driven to get all they can regardless to
how they get it or who it hurts.

Never mind that you are not rich or famous,
that you are known to only a few people who
may not feel that there is anything about you
that is attractive or impressive

Never mind that you are going to die and that
you don't know how soon it will be or under
what kind of circumstances it will happen, whether
it will be a good death or a horrible death,
sudden or after much suffering.

Never mind any of these things.

But always mind this one thing: mind that you
are ever-mindful of Who has the mind of God
because He is God.

"In all your ways acknowledge him, and he
will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:6)
