Even if you did know more about God than the most knowledgable person but did not know God you would lack the most important knowledge of all.
To know about God is not enough.
A person's greatest need is to know God.
Within every person there is an ever-present yearning to know Him and a restlessness that will not cease until a person knows God, personally and intimately.
Knowing about God consists of possessing knowledge and information derived from thinking, believing, second-handed sources and vicarious experiences. This more than suggests the probability that God may or may not be truly God.
To know God is not a matter of probability.
Knowing God is in and of itself irrefutable evidence. There are things that every person knows, including that he will die. Knowing God results from having a faith-relationship with God. It is having awareness and discernment of the certainty of God's presence in the present and conviction expressed in the confession of the affirmation: "I know that I know that I know God."
Do you know God?
You can know not just about Him;
You can know God.
