I'LL SING THE SONG

I'll sing the song
of my life in the key of love.
I'll sing the song
that says "Give all to love."
And in a world where joy is seldom known
I'll sing my song wherever
I go for anyone
who extends to me his listening
ear and open heart,
an invitation to be troubadour.
Maybe after listening to my melody he will
begin to sing his own love song.

I'll catch the sun
and keep the sunlight for myself.
I'll catch the sun
and it will be my own.
And in a world where people seldom care
I'll offer compassion
to anyone who encounters me
and tells me
he's in need of authentic love,
in need of encouragement or just a friend.
Listen now, I'm beginning to feel like I want
to share my sun with that new anyone.

I'll ride the wind
and let my presence spread delight.
I'll ride the wind
and bring with me my love.
And in a world where everyone needs love
I'll share my love with you
without any expectation
as to how you will respond
to my gift of love,
my reaching out to touch and be touched.
Like the invisible wind there are times you
will not see me but you will feel my love.

Sing your own song
and make your own music.
You are a natural-born musicmaker
and the chief musician of your life.
The music and lyrics within your soul
anxiously wait to be expressed in song.
The turbulent-like vibrations in your
soul will not subside until you give a
winged voice to your soul's music.
So lifft up your voice and sing.
Let the music be heard in resounding song.
The angels are waiting for you to sing
your song.
Others may listen to you sing your song
and they may enjoy your music;
But only you can sing your song.
Let this refrain, "Sing your own song,"
frequently remind you to
