While gazing at the full moon I was
moonstruck and inspired to play my
harmonica and write a new song.
It was a summer night in August and the
full mon seemed bigger and brighter than
I had ever remembered it to be.
As I walked out on the veranda, immediately
I was moonstruck and inspired to play my
harmonica. It was clear to me that I was
playing a tune that I had never heard before,
a new tune that transported me into an obit
where I felt like I and the moon were one.
While gazing upon the moon I played the
never-heard-before melody passionately
and with gusto. Suddenly in my soul there
were words in perfect harmony with the
tune I was playing and the feeling
engulfing me of God's presence. I began
playing my harmonica and singing
responsively.
Graced by the moonlight I wrote lyrics
to the melody I was playing and the
words I was singing to my moon song
"I Feel God's Presence."
I feel God's presence
and I know He is here right now.
I hear Him saying
you are mine and I am yours.
I feel God's presence
and I know He is here right now.
My soul delights...
in the Lord of my salvation.
He's everything...
that I need and even more.

While the Moon seemed to be your inspiration, you left it out of the lyrics. Perhaps you could add another stanza with "I felt the light of his warm presence shining down through the darkness of the night. The moon was in its essence, and my heart was filled with light."
