Who are you? Do not compare
yourself with anyone else.
You are one-of-a-kind.

In a world of sociaization
Be yourself -
In a world of dehumanization Be yourself.
When the world is hard at work trying to
make you counterfeit;
Fight the hardest. of all battles,
Be yourself.

People really like the real people. -
Be yourself, They
honor all peope who are for real
. Be yourself
When you're tempted to deceive someone

else and self as well;
Be the person you're meant to be.
Be yourself.

When they put you down and reject you,
Be yourself, When they
mock your good name and lambast you, Be
yourself,
When  you stand without support and your
friends have gone away;
O friend of friends be your own best friend,
Be yourself.

(Taken From "Mutuality Full Life Process Songs"
by Uiah J. Fields.)

Note: My lyrics may be sung to the traditional
tune "Stand by Me," by Rev. Charles Albert
Tindley (1905)
. Or, talk-sing this song as you|
feel when you say aloud these words.

Uriah, the only problem is I would have to find "myself" first. If you don't mind you mind check out "The Me I Am" I wrote,
I'm still looking, ha!
No, but seriously, you are right.

Great advice in a song. We all have something to contribute that is unique and it's harder to try to be someone were not.
