You Can Still Have Ice Cream
There is grass to be mowed and shows to be binged
Time will pass whether you are watching hands or not
Walk through the water and pause to breast the surface
Blow your dream towards the sky as you submerge
All is well, all is well. You need not fear
Keep your tongue in your mouth and your fingers in line
And until the next pause, take a scrape
At your empty bowl with your spoon.
