Written from the soul of a soldier, Paul. I used to wonder what made folks join the armed forces; what thoughts made them sacrifice everything special in their life to fight for the rest of us to be free. After speaking to several veterans, I realized they weren't willing to give up everything special; freedom is special and they want all of us to have it. This poem is powerful, and the last verse reinforces what I've heard from other brave soldiers. This poem makes me feel thankful, and it reminds me of the burden our soldiers willingly shoulder. Brightly and clearly expressed with an upbeat tempo! I like it! Should be a rallying cry we all respond to and a covenant promise we choose to make to our fellow man. Love the solidarity in this and makes me want to enlist for the fight! Stirring write, Paul, TY Kate xx

Very interesting, wonderful and quite meaningful. I have been struggling nine good months to get out from my mom's womb. How come somebody else can take away that freedom from me. I would instead die for it. I am in Africa where our freedom is in the hands of the leaders. They give it to those who support them while denying opponents to exercise their given right.

Without those brave and honorable men and women..we would have lost that given right a long long time ago!
Those demons are now targeting small children..They HAVE to be stopped.
