lovely write!! i sure do love eagles..so majestic when in flight, magnificent when not in the air..have seen them in our backyard in ohio (babies); they landed in our tree in our backyard, and daddy had me get the bird book to see what kind of bird was in our yard, and when i saw the yellow beak, i looked at the hawks and stuff, and found out that it WASN'T a hawk, but a baby bald eagle! i was absolutely amazed!! saw him again several months later, and the feathers on his head and tail were starting to turn white.
