Sorry if you want yo get the whole story you may have to read the first part which I have previously posted. Part 2 was written this week so I couldn't post it when I did part 1.
Now Beaver Tail, a handsome brave
Whose maiden's life he couldn't save
Vowed a path of sweet revenge
For her spirit, would avenge
Silent swiftness of this man
Wrought fear among the tribal lands
Destined most to go before
Were those in tune to legends lore
On moonlit nights drums would sound
At Willows Bend, that burial ground
Another warrior it would call
One by one til last they fall
An Indian maid named Dancing Bare
With hair so soft and skin so fair
Decided she would tame this Crete
Or watch her tribe fall to defeat
Stoney Creek became the place
Where Tail and Bare met face to face
They fell into loves sweet embrace
And disappeared without a trace
One last word before I leave
This tale, although, hard to believe
Sends a message you may conceive
Love still comes for those who grieve
Great sequel to part one! You have a talent for creating legends and giving them an eerie feel. I like the romantic twist in this one. -Sheila
