and as elevating as a greeting from
a long lost friend.

Paul, this is beautiful, it grasped and tugged at my soul immediately!! I have too often been a sandstone angel, ahhh, the irony of yearning to dwell within, and then wishing for the key to get out... :) One of your best, in my opinion!! Another uniqueness is how you meld the softness of angels and the roughness of sandstone, exquisite!!
