Mutant

by Erin Elizabeth Kelly-Moen — Read all 1,670 poems by Erin Elizabeth Kelly-Moen

Wednesday, March 31, 2004

Poem Artwork
Mutant! Your altered form shivers my eyes,
normalcy skewed, design shows Chaos rules.
You fascinate with oblique lines. But, why,
my mutant, did Nature abstract her jewel?

Your life still beats and flowers set; beget
my mind, I need to find a special place
to open to your differences; well met,
my friend, come on in, there is need to face

our ugly side; compassion grows in light.
Unloved mutant, you stir my soul, fragile,
how you grow into heart of twisted sight,
tender inside, fearing even to smile.

Buried deep; immutable; joke or sin…
I feel you, mutant, for -- you are my twin.

Erin, good description. It doesn't take much to get your juices flowing, does it? Bill

This is a surrealistic, esoteric and symbolistical composition that depicts the arcane of a wise soul.

Perseverance is a panacea similar to Aloe Vera that heals must wounds, and stimulates metamorphosis for the betterment of the souls.

“Mutant” is a collector’s choice I have had the privilege to learn from.

I Salute You, Sublime Poet!

A man can lose his light once he tresspasses in the dark. He can inherit from personal habits and the meeting of eyes a search for it, from the actions of others. Not a president or king though can actually own the actual burden of its' loss, and have any wisdaom at all too wear. My own sister once cautioned me about the critical eye and mean wit of writers vs scientists. Either a headroom, or callous blindness problem, aand personnally I think arent incapable of mean pranks and jokes if not malacious ssself justified crimes motivated by attitude-if not actually aa self bolstered narsicism at inflicting hurt upon the open vulnerabilities of others, t follow of wwith stolen and plagerised heard words of wisdo repeated to them. I received a failure as an undergraduate for a course in the history of science when my theseis paper was rejected for a lack of development of the topic. I latewr encountered the professor in a distant city and state a decade later as a graduate student gving a guest lecture wwith the exact title of my paper as his lifelong research pursuit.

later still ihad the opportunity living nearby my almamatter unemployed indigent to call him aaanomously and ask if he knew if there was a connection between the big bang theory and the development of firearms-"I dont know he said seriously/perplexed and hung up?

Can lure and entrap like dante with his "own" in his own hell.-like the fear instilled by a preditor upon its prey. The lure though has to be ultimately one of personal choice and suiting or worse terrible suffering and heartaches. I am like Woody Allen-I wouldnt join any club that would have me as a member. And would be uncomfortable if not fearfull unto dread and darkness if i didnt hear laughter somewhere in the room. An existing threaT cant get unless you join the club. There are also those if given the upper hand vaccuum out the world of the whole club.

You put all this(these typoes and actions) together and the appraisal of the US navy is that it is a war that cannot be fought or won. It take the stupidest idiot in the world to "test" it out in some "small" area, "he wasnt standing in".

Instead of, even if the fuse is already set-the only answeris to sleep off pains that cant be found.
