Sweet Pea Plumed

Poem Artwork
Ethereal flumed perfume, dainty pink
Of pea design, exudes bouquet of Spring’s
Auspice, wafting pastel sight and smell; wink
And wave and breath pure bliss plush season brings.

Ecstatic pulse enflames petite tendril’s
Progressive search, tipsy blossoms angle
To reach for slipstream sun, ablaze, until
Portentous winds pluck petals. Symbolic…

Edifice collapses as plumed pea-forms
Grasp at growth, proud-greeting portfolio
Epicures love of prolific reforms,
While recumbent supports lie dead below.

Sweet pea, effloresce into fallow rhymes;
Seed fused-words before decrescendo climbs.

"flumed"? em.. I don't have my dictionary here.. oh, wait, that was Adam's and he moved out.. sigh.. my favorite part was "tipsy blossoms".. I bonded with that phrase because it's playful and, to my mind, just right for these sweetie pie flowers... ("bonded"?.. Ah, well.. communing with nature is my treat). smile... you have, my dear Erin, a captivating vocabulary, indeed! What I most wished to do here was simply sit by those 'plumes' .. your photography is truly poetic and I am, if nothing else, a person of visuals. If 'a picture is worth 1000 words', and it can be, then you picked the right ones, once again..love, katy xox.

“Sweet Pea Plumed” is indeed a collector’s item. It is a masterpiece to be studied and discussed.

I agree with the Review below. It does cover all on this piece of Art.

Congratulations!

This “Sweet Pea Plumed” is the challenge of the century, – using poetic license that complies with Poetry, – for it transcends the rules and gives birth to a brilliant piece of art, surreal, symbolistical and natural. Salvador Dali would like to read this one! Paul Verlaine, Stéphane Marllamé and Arthur Rimbaud, would call Shakespeare to show how Poet Erin E. Moen can teach them.

On this twenty-fourth day of Spring, I Salute You, Poet!
