Pick a stand, a choice, a plan,
pick a pace, this is a race.
Pick up your toys, your room,
your land, pick up your pride,
be glad you can.
Pick a creed, beliefs and truths,
pick it wise, without disguise.
Pick up your mind, don't stay blind,
we are Mankind, unrefined,
but give us Time.
Pick a life, a path, a way,
pick one to hold, commit to stay.
Pick up your fears, love your years,
time goes by in blinking eyes,
and you will die.
Pick a star, quasar or space,
pick a place you’ve never been.
Pick up your soul, plus your heart,
glow eternal, you are whole;
be free and go.

Reminds me why we have children. Something that needs to be remembered from time to time.
