Shells Hung In The Air

I walked through a dream
dreamily bemusing,
where the balmed air
diamond-sparkled,
and shells hung above my head,
while stars lay below.
I waltzed through a dream,
dancing beautifully,
where the sequined air
rainbow-dazzled,
and hearts took forms of art,
while worlds lay bestrewn.
I wandered through a dream
dreamily wondering,
where the plasmic air
crystal-knowledged,
and minds were shimmers of light,
while births lay beyond.
I willed myself into a dream,
achingly needy,
where the peaceful air
fantasy-lived,
and visions raptured my sight,
where nirvana lay...
I wept when I awoke from this dream,
everything forgotten,
where the sorrowed air
melancholy-bled,
and actions darkened my kind,
where pain never ends.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
You give me my memories for a while this morning. I'm one of those kids from that era too.
