Morning gray, it seems you are here to stay,
you reap my sighs with cloudy scythe, smother
and betray lorn delight of day; to pay,
I slay my sensitivity; lover…
Mother Gray, send me away – away from
scorn self-applied, I don’t know why sunshine
burns my soul. Let me go… Nay, come, benumb
me with your rabid heart, on which we dine.
Gray so fey! I tremble in your design,
wallow in your underground; beseech light,
not so bright, to give me up, realign
the cusp of insanity – show me…night.
Raptured Gray, mourning, I lay me aside,
come father/brother/sister; come…abide.
