Do you ever wonder how essences are chosen
to abide on our Earth. A lottery?
A conscription? A pogrom?
Is it free will, or punishment?
Or both…
Are we caretakers of miscreant souls?
Is there such, beyond? A flawed soul?
How could that not be if we go to a heaven,
separated from hell? Wouldn’t the flaw
then be with us?
Separation of souls.
Sounds like narrow thinking, to me.
I don’t believe Heaven is gained that easily.
I think Time is God.
And we float in its torrent,
bobbing along, hitting rocks, and bottoms,
and pools of calm; building sandbars
of understanding around ourselves.
Like a pearl of essence, encased
by Time’s brilliance-lived.
I think we were all born at the same time,
are walking through Time in God.
And when his children reach
their pearly maturity, then Heaven
is reached, for a split-second, and we implode,
with a Big Bang, and are sent forth,
mixed and flawed, again.
For, that is Eternity.
