Gray clouds hang in the early morning sky,
aglow with the freshness of night’s passing,
and hidden sun’s radiant light.
The playful breeze tickles her senses,
liquidly fluttering through foliage,
wafting the scent of life to her being.
Birds flitter and cheep with vitality,
a few sprinkles touch her legs -- as cats meow,
breaking the serenity, and demanding breakfast.
