Sun and Moon

Between the now of how we live, between
divisions in our heads, where fallacies
commence, comes Sun and Moon. We all have seen
both faces dreamed, have seen between false sheets
of happenstance. There is no Fate. Await
no more someone else’s lore; within mind
comes the fuel of energy. Shine abates
when breath is held, release it, please, our kind
deserves a chance. We all can see how love
sets love free, to carry souls to complete
the ring. Awake, all people! Worlds above
the stars are ours! Who will be first to greet
freedom? Sun and Moon are split apart, yet,
in extremes, they can meld in silhouette.
