Fell Down From a Mountaintop

I sat upon a mountaintop,
sat above below,
I sat upon a mountaintop,
sat below above.
And as I sat,
balanced between
the high and low,
I began to weep.
I sat upon a mountaintop,
where I began to weep.
I couldn’t think,
I couldn’t speak,
could only rock and weep.
I rocked upon a mountaintop,
I saw the heights
Mankind could reach,
and I saw the lows.
I reached to touch humanity,
stretched and reached,
and fell upon my brow.
I fell down from a mountaintop,
and now can only see below.

I fell down from a mountaintop,

Other mountain perspectives, food for thought, also:
Why do some claim they've climbed Mount Everest? Because it's there.
Eastern philosophers and some others find their peace there.
Gotta watch what you drink or smoke or eat prior to writing, dear friend Erin, I think you may have had an overdose...Peace, Ed & rufuz
