Did you ever wonder
if you were important?
Did you ever think you were,
and then not, over and over?
It’s called ego, id, soul.

What is the worth
of feeling worth
if she is scared
of feeling worthy?

Once, she didn’t care
to be cared about.
But, she does now. She cares
because she can, mostly,
she cares because she is.

Right now, though,
she doesn't care,
because she's scared.
