Storm-Palms

by Erin Elizabeth Kelly-Moen — Read all 1,670 poems by Erin Elizabeth Kelly-Moen

Saturday, September 4, 2004

Her palms are restless.
There seems to be a formless
formula trapped inside of her;
a storm is ravaging
the lands of her life.
It needs releasing
before she comes undone.

Her pulse is racing.
It is love’s code to a formless
formulate unavailable to her;
this storm is promising
new lands to her life.
It needs believing
before she can self unwind.

Her palms are beating,
an endless pattern to a formless
formication, itching her skin off of her;
the Storm is coming,
opening lands to all life.
Minds need revising,
palms open to the storm.

i was aware of a real ambience & tension from the writing
there is a feeling of presentment that haunts in dark moods
place & circumstance in it saludos

Dear Erin,

Thought provoking, understanding there is a need for change, and accepting the challenge, will perhaps give her the code to self realization. Grea Write.

Warm hugs
