Axis Falls

by Erin Elizabeth Kelly-Moen — Read all 1,670 poems by Erin Elizabeth Kelly-Moen

Monday, September 27, 2004

There are moments
when you don’t feel relative
to the wording of the world.
And your axis can’t rotate
within you.

There are moments
when you feel sterile,
become wordless and mute.
Any axis is irrelative,
within you.

There are moments
when you feel weary,
and you throw the words down.
Sending your axis into the hell
within you.

I find its best not to write when the Muse deserts you Erin...
It pays to wait until inspiration arrives.....
Sad and pensive...

Depressed just a bit, Erin? I hope not, you have such talent! If nothing else you have the talent to really mix me up...LOL! But that doesn't take much as I get older...Find peace young lady, Ed & Rufuz
