Sweet scented morn of Autumn’s rainfall night!
Cold raptures shiver skin with air-swift breeze,
while rainbow dews send sparkled show of light
into the reverent eyes of soul’s release.
Aroma waft your prize to me! I sip,
revived by storm-fresh skies! Earth’s cycled shift
spins hemisphere into chilled season’s grip
as leaves forlorn befall my form like gifts…
Perfume of growth replete with harvest moons!
I wear your tang and dance upon rain dews!
Too soon the winter’s freeze will shatter boons
of sun-salved days, decrying life reviewed...
So shadowed Autumn falls with earth-chilled tense,
to fade the colors planet’s nature spent.
