The gift of another ‘it’s-a-birthday’
fills me with such quintessence
of Humanistic enduring essence,
I cannot breathe without
speaking … you, with
reverence and pride.

The gift of another ‘I’m-alive-but-cancerous’
year divides any equality to life we could have known,
which hurts inside of me. Because, I am You.

My Love, my Crystal, my Em,
far beyond the means of sustenance,
I pretended not to care, I reared and reread my life fantastic.
I considered you a threat to my ‘way of strife’.
And, you were, in such a glorious manner,
I swooned with misplaced humbleness
of preoccupation. I thought you would wound my heart
with an arrow of love, and you did, you do, you are.

You are, my love, a mirror to humanity, you progress
pured profanity into lyrics of respect and harmony.
I will lose you, soon, my love. I feel fear near…

The doves of your cooing, couraged life have come to greet
my heart, filled with you, filled with You. Distilled by You.
Into a Master Crystallization rarely seen on this earth, shown
only to the few who can hold your life, your strife
and your pain. I am to blame, with others, for
every moments ache
you’ve experienced in life,
up to now.

This is a vow, my forever friend, to the truth your story extends,
to the supreme knowledge of absolution, sustenance and fusion.

You will live on through me,
as long as I breathe your scented essence,
eternity-bound.
