I don’t understand how the mouths of Man
Bestow and bestrew the pearls of our words
In manners repressive. I understand
The need to command, to become the herd
Leader, but… Bleeders and levers, anxious
And fractious, cannot compare another’s
Mind to their own. I don’t understand dross,
And loss of delight in the words of brothers,
When another’s tongue, bedeviled and stung,
Realizes, lashing with poison gases
Of inner breath’s need to blurt, “I am smug.”
I don’t understand Men with mouths that shout
About superior reasons of self.
I don’t understand -- myself. I need help…

me away. It sums it up and leaves much to
ponder. Great work!
"Bleeders and Levers" depicts a transition between confusion, understanding and universal trance of soemone's life in searching for soul's nourishment.
A strong thought's stimulator.

About your last sentence-if i read it right -you can live life Linda Rhonstadt like "those boys always got me up a tree" if your conflicts though deeper than your encounters', leave an open vulnerability to those whose mouths always accomadate their feet to step on others. Marvin

Wrenching. What's going on in that head of yours....hmmm?
Looks like a good place to take a picnic lunch and have a look about.
