The night, my Sun, has begun, has begot
Star-glow of history; eternity
Bought. I see, now, second thought, clearly sought,
Will mature the prelude to calmer Me's.
It’s funny, my Sons, how wisdom becomes
A hummingbird of elusive wings. Night
Brings different visions to light. Aplomb
Lies in the usage of tools. Oversight
Benumbs the mind, uncreating diverse
Options to life. Do you think you can save
Us, Sun? Has the new Age restrung verses
Of Poetry’s commerce? Can freedom wave?
My nighttime Sun, I see your Sons bare heads
Of plights undone, without feeling death’s dread.

One can't skim over this; one must dive in and let the hidden wisdom soak in and linger a while...this is exquisitely penned! Well done!
