When We Become

by Erin Elizabeth Kelly-Moen — Read all 1,670 poems by Erin Elizabeth Kelly-Moen

Thursday, June 16, 2005

When we become spiritually cognizant,
not through Mankind’s written religions,
but through souled cores of connection
to All that was, is and will be, and
biased peace of mind is lost, peace of mind
is found.

When we look more closely at our own selves,
study thought processes, emotions, patterns
and wherefores, an expansion begins, a
placement of unknown realities, and,
denigration of thoughts is lost, while
progression of thought is found.

When we start acknowledging mistakes,
not by ridicule, but with reassurances
of our own ability to learn and retain
valuable tools to spirit-growth, to
realization enslavement by kind is lost,
we understand freedom of Being is found.

Connection is the key and yes, self-acknowledgement. If we can't see ourselves true, what other truths can be opened to us? Grand write, Erin...

Eighteen trails to the road of freedom passing three
stations, "When We Become" readers of life, and then
"When We Become" a Poem to sing the newfound reality that
the Verb conjugates spreading actions, we see through
the eye of the >>>I < < <.

I have enjoyed the contents of "When We Become"... the poem.

Healthy Creative Long Life, Poet!

As was said many moons ago, "the unexamined life is not worth living." WHEN WE BECOME not only beautifully illustrates that observation but masterfully underscores just how much there is to gain when one dares to delve with love and courage beneath the surface of self in order to truly engage SELF.

I am on the same page
you must find the spirituality within because it is where the real answers lie and religion is man made it does not really help you find the higher self and to properly battle ego

A great Light Poem

Erin,

Yes. A wise write you have penned, that all mankind should adhere to and learn from. This needs to be posted at every religious institution and followed like the Ten Commandments. BRAVA!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. :)
