“Beloved! To see your full form in dawn's
Spanned light is to behold creation's life!
So sweet these moments of meeting – then gone.
Your cool radiance always thrills, my wife!
“My Husband! You bedazzle my night-dark
Eyes with your brilliance! The touch of your
Rays shivers my reflection disembarked.
Your face, so bright… I must leave from your shore!”
“Beloved! Do not turn from my ardor,
My heat boils the atmosphere to turmoiled
seas! Stay! Be not afraid of my love pure,
Without you, the long days of light seem soiled…”
“My Love, I fade, to return to night-skies
Loneliness, where I will wane - into less…”

Your piece here is rich in texture and simmers with both passion and romance. Yet so much can be drawn from the moon as feminine, with no true light of her own, and the sun always seen as masculine. Oh, don't let me start. Fantastic, wonderful writing, Erin. ~~Nordette
