Fingers of Fate

My fingers
Rest upon each other
In a tantalizing manner,
Even though they are not pretty.
Yet, they hold geometry,
Physics, alchemy and
Free will in their shape.
My fingers
Rest upon unknown laurels
Of mistakes, in a banner
I seize upon with debutante wakes.
Yet, they hold no blame,
Biology is gene-mutated,
And free will is its shape.
My fingers
Rest upon my breast,
In the epitome of death,
As I deem their current beauty.
Yet, they hold my soul,
Psychology-ridden,
And, free will is their shape…

I found this poem to be profoundly moving. It is clear that your fingers express the complexity and the beauty of your soul.
May they continue to pour out words of wisdom, inspiration and insight.

They do so much more than we give them credit for;-)
