Pencil trails of life-in-flight
Give support
To paper skeletons,
Manual-made.

Imagine all
The scraps of paper
We write our lives upon.
Bonded, tattered, enveloped
And scribbled. Trees and leaves
And shirts and skins.

Ink-penned trails of death-in-sight
Give support
To paper skeletons,
Maestro-made.

Imagine all
The memories of paper
We fight our lives upon.
Littered, squandered, scattered
And embittered. Sins and sleeves
And fees and births�
