I wish I could see
With butterfly eyes,
Wish I could dance
On wings of light,
But, I’m no butterfly.

I wish I could fly
With clouds-in-sky wings,
Wish I could float
On winds of blue and pink,
But, I’m not a cloud.

I wish I could hear
With wind's tear-filled ears,
Wish I could wend
Nearer than farther,
But, I’m not movement.

I wish I could feel
When grace is nearer,
Wish I could dance
Beyond and further,
But, I’m not grace…
