Childish author, incomplete, wax and wane,
Indiscrete, wayward wile your words puerile,
Then kiss the heat of emotions; complain
Of utter devotion; entertain guiles
Of absolution; … explain heresay.
Author-child of delusion’s tactile whens
Aberrance, shaping nuded-disarray,
Abnegate solutions; now, deviate…
Adolescent author, non-replete, feign
Decisions, incomplete; for Life, worthwhile,
Demands revisions. To help ascertain
Acid moments, all must burn. ‘Versatile’
Explains itself. Author-child, you parlay
The need of Man to recover… Amen.
“Do unto others what
You
would want Others
To do
unto You.”
Period. Dot. End.
Amen?

Companion piece:
Pumpkin Bumpkin
I am a bumpkin,
In a pumpkin,
Belied by planes
That fell, splattering
Pumpkin guts
Upon the world.
And, now
There are
No bumpkins
Left in pumpkins
In this world…
