Sooth, Sayer?

Sooth, Sayer? What do you see? What do you
See ahead for me? Must you read my face?
The wrinkles of my fate? Must you see through
Pale grayed-pinks of surviving human race?
Soothsayer? How do you plead? Guilty, or
Not? What’s been sought realizes glamour
Of eternal chatter… Sayer? Ignore
The wizard behind the curtain, make sure
Your words are Truth. Sooth, Seer, soothsayer,
What do you see? Is it the answers I
Crave to Be? Why do life’s questions so pray
On my needs? Seer of truth, where fly
The Past’s breed? Seer of ought and sayer
Of naught, sooth? I see the end of me…

I enjoyed this offering, however, because, at once, it conjured the pleasing folklore of dungeons and dragons and Knights and maidens.

Soothsayers are mostly for fun. I have not really used a live soothsayer yet. I do not want to know what's coming to me. I want my life to be filled with surprises.
A good thought-provoking write!
